Manchester's first 60's Music Convention took place on Sunday 18 May 2014 at Urmston Men's Club, Urmston home of Peter Noone/ Hermans Hermits Sth M/cr.
A great success brought together by Paul Wilde it
featured local legends...Eric Haydock (The Hollies)
Karl Green (Hermans Hermits)

Derek Quinn (Freddie and the Dreamers)
Pete Maclaine (Decca) and
Graham Lee (The Scorpions UK)
plus live music supplied by Manchester's first rock'n'roll
group formed 1959 The Emperors of Rhythm.
Featured Paul's exclusive interview with Johnnie Hamp
the man who gave The Beatles many TV moments and
produced the 'Blues & Gospel Train' TV special on a
disused train station in Chorlton on 7 May 1964.

Discovered while playing at the world famous
Cavern Club in Liverpool. Producer Ron Richards
